Build a website.
If you have ever wanted to build a website but thought it took a lot of technical skill, you were wrong. All you need to build a website is a domain name, hosting and WordPress.org.
If you are a beginner at this don’t worry,it’s easy to build a website if you take your time to learn the steps and get more help if you need it.Believe me, the internet can teach you how to do anything.
This is where the real work starts. So lets go through what it takes to build a website step by step. Then I will show you how to build your business.
Choosing a Niche.
If you have already chosen a niche,or just a broad subject you may find it very competitive. This means you will have little hope of standing out in a huge crowd of sites in this chosen area.
To get around this you will need to drill down to the micro-niche level to find a space of your own that’s not too crowded.

How to Choose a Domain Name & Hosting for Your Website
To get a new website online, you’re going to need two things:
- A domain name (a web address like yoursitename.com)
- Hosting (a service that connects your site to the internet)
A domain name and hosting will cost you around $10.00 a month so it won’t break the bank.
You need to buy your own domain name so it will look far more professional than having your site on someone else’s domain like yourbusiness.freewebsite.com.It is also a good idea to buy that domain from a separate source to your hosting, even though you can get a free domain from you host company. This gives you control over each facet of the process.
Having your own hosting will also make sure your website loads quickly and won’t go down often (pretty important for visitors to your pages).
Choosing your domain name.
1) Can I create a brand with this name. For example, if you make a site about training dogs then bestdogtraining.com is not a good choice: positivek9training.org is much better.
2) Is it memorable? Short, punchy and clear domain names are easy to remember. An exact match domain or EMD means that your domain name is the same as the service you are providing so visitors wont forget it. mudbrickhouses.com tells visitors exactly what the site is all about.
3) Is the name something catchy? There are some domains that are descriptive and catchy like Nichehacks.com, and others that are catchy but the meaning is not apparent like quicksprout.com which is a very popular blog by Neil Patel.
You want a name that rolls off the tongue, describes what you do and sticks in the memories of web searchers. Coming up with a domain name that meets these criteria can be a bit tough but don’t give up.And remember to try to get a domain with either .com, .net, or .org extension to be more mainstream and easy to find.
